The AALA's Annual Agricultural Law Symposium will once again host national and regional legal and policy experts who will address cutting edge issues in agriculture, natural resources, water, food, environmental, and agribusiness law. AALA will be offering tracks focused on needs of agricultural law practitioners including in-house counsel, small and rural practitioners, food law attorneys, new attorneys, and policy counsel.
On Thursday, October 25, DWT partner Elaine Albrich and associate Jeff Giametta will take part in a presentation and panel titled "Key Legal Issues Attorneys Should Know About" at the event. Elaine will discuss agritourism and alternative land uses, while Jeff will speak about alcohol production.
Then on Friday, DWT partners Richard Glick and Ame Lewis will take part in a breakout session called "Environmental Due Diligence in Farmland Transactions."
On Saturday, DWT attorney Alli Condra will participate in another breakout session on "Current Issues in Food Labeling & Trademarks."
