What was your favorite food as a kid? Pizza (I’m from Long Island, after all.)
If you couldn’t be a lawyer, what would you be? An entrepreneur, most likely in the food and beverage space.
Why is food/bev/ag your chosen industry? I’ve always been passionate about craftsmanship and cultures that are authentic. I guess it’s the utilitarian beauty of the food and beverage world that keeps me happy.
What is your favorite quote? "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." Homer Simpson couldn’t have said it better.
What is your favorite food travel destination, and why? My dining room. When she has time to make it, there’s nothing quite as good as my wife’s brisket.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? If there’s local food and drink that has character and a great tradition of folk music, I’m pretty happy. A nice place to hike doesn’t hurt.
